The property of the Ex Convento San Pablo was sold in summer of 2006. It will be used as a public building (theater or museum) and not as a hotel.

We highly recommend the Hostal de La Noria, located just half a block from the San Pablo.

The building of the Ex Convento San Pablo began in July 1529 and was completed in September 1547 as a convent for the Dominican order of monks.

Today it has been restored to its original splendor and is a truly majestic hotel with its unique architecture dating back to so long ago.

It has kept its original spiritual ambiance even up to our own time, while providing a touch of modern comfort and transforming the former monks' quarters into incomparably luxurious accommodations.

Restaurant la Condesa

The restaurant
La Condesa opens 7 am to noon.

Located in the historic district, it houses
21 deluxe rooms, well ventilated with ceiling fans. Beautiful colonial furnishings, fine craft work,
and original antique oil paintings.

Every room features cable TV, telephone, mini-bar, hair dryer, iron, room service, fan, security box, coffee maker and alarm clock. All rooms have bathtubs - some with showers.

OCCUPANCY

If not sharing a room with another person (adult) you will need single accommodations. One child (age 2-12) stays free. If there are two children traveling with you, one of the children will be charged as adult (double occupancy rate) and the other with children's rate.

If you are sharing a room with another person (adult) you will need double accommodations. Maximum two children (age 2- 12) stay free in this accommodation.

If there will be three adults sharing a room you will need triple accommodations. No children occupancy in this accommodation.

  


Roll-away beds are NOT available at the hotel. Cribs available without charges.



Minimum booking is 3 nights; 5-night required during holiday periods.
